Graduation ceremonies

Our next graduation ceremonies will take place between 3-10 September 2024. Further information and booking instructions will be released in late April.

  1. Invitations

Eligible students will receive an email invitation from Academic Awards, which is sent to your DMU alumni email address and any personal email address you registered on the university’s student record system. .

If you haven’t received an invite and have checked your junk mail, contact the graduation team by email at academicawards@dmu.ac.uk, or by phone on +44 (0) 116 257 7307 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm).

You will need your student ID, or P number, to book your place on the system. When entering your P number, remove the 'P' and just enter the number.

  2. Eligibility criteria

The ceremonies are for students who have passed all elements of their course (and received results confirmation from their faculty) between the dates of 1 July 2023 and 24 November 2023. Please note that graduation booking will close on 14 November at 5pm so if you expect to pass but haven’t yet received results by 14 November please don’t delay your booking, you can always cancel the booking later. These are strict deadlines; any student who passes after this date will be invited to our summer ceremonies in 2024. This also includes where reassessed work has been submitted but not finalised before 24 November.

The closing date to book your place at the graduation ceremony is 14 November at 5pm.

You may be eligible to apply for this fund, an application form and supporting evidence is required.

The Graduation Support Fund will open 12 noon on 26 October and closes on 14 November at 5pm. Applications received after this time will not be accepted
